Surgery Veterinary Technician Supervisor
BluePearl Pet Hospital in SW Portland is seeking a Surgery Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead, mentor, and train a team of veterinary professionals.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills, and business knowledge.
- Coach team members to proactively anticipate and address patient and client needs, and seek assistance with escalated or stressful situations.
- Work with hospital leadership to organize technician and assistant meetings.
- Organize training schedules for technician staff.
- Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
- Provide feedback to leadership and develop performance improvement plans.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.
- Passion for leading by example, coaching, and mentoring teammates.
- Advanced veterinary skills and experience.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Pay
$29 - $42 per hour, dependent on experience and determined by the Kahuna competency system.
Schedule
4 days a week on a rotating A/B schedule: Monday–Thursday one week, then Tuesday–Friday the following week. Hours are 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
