SURGERY - REGISTERED NURSE

About the role

The Operating Room RN is responsible for delivering and documenting patient care during the intra-operative period. The role involves assessing patient needs, both physically and emotionally, and planning appropriate nursing care. Responsibilities include monitoring compliance with established standards and policies, facilitating cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors, and adhering to policies and procedures for perioperative nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, including physiological and emotional aspects
• Plan and implement nursing care based on assessment findings
• Maintain compliance with established standards and policies
• Facilitate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors
• Monitor surgical scrubs and ensure adherence to protocols

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
• CNOR certification preferred
• Operating room experience preferred
