About the role
Surgery Department Nurse Manager (RN) responsible for leading perioperative nursing teams in a faith-based healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily OR operations, staffing, patient flow, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient surgical services and positive patient outcomes
- Manage budgeting, performance, staff development, and mentoring
- Foster a culture of compassion, teamwork, and continuous improvement aligned with organizational values
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) with leadership experience in perioperative care
- Strong knowledge of OR operations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, team collaboration, and management skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and whole-person care
