Surgery Coordinator
About the role
We are seeking a Surgery Coordinator who shares our mission and will help create an amazing patient experience. This is a full-time position with business hours Monday to Friday, based out of the Colorado Springs HQ and Briargate locations.
Responsibilities
- Tracking pathology results with accuracy
- Communicating benign and malignant results with compassion
- Cordination of treatment across all of our offices
- Verifying insurance benefits and communicating cost information with patients
Requirements
- Experience with juggling multiple tasks at once
- Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm
Qualifications
- A four-year degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of working well on teams and delivering excellence
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Customer service experience a plus
- Alignment with the values and mission of Vanguard Skin Specialists
Skills
Superhuman organization and attention to detail is a must. Operates as part of a successful team.

Pay and Schedule
The pay range is $20-$23 per hour, depending on experience, with eligibility for overtime and paid time off. Reviews occur semi-annually, and the position is eligible for promotion from within.
Physical Working Conditions
- Sit, stand, and/or walk for up to 10 hours
- Lift up to 25-50 pounds
- Operate a computer and other office machinery
- Communicate accurately, effectively, and frequently
- Identify color on the computer and software used
