Surfside #60 Takeout/Food Runner

About the role

Responsibilities

• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, and other tasks as needed
• Be knowledgeable about Food & Beverage menus, current promotions, and specials; answer guest questions clearly
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system
• Retrieve food or drink orders from the kitchen or bar and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
• Collect guest payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards), ensure transaction accuracy, and provide correct change
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned sidework
• Pack and verify all To-Go orders with guests
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk 100% of the shift
• Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (e.g., delivering and clearing plates and glasses)
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English
• Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks and notes
• Completion of Florida Responsible Vendor program and food safety certification (in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes)
• Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment
