Fort Lauderdale #22 Takeout/Food Runner

Responsibilities

• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, and related tasks as needed.
• Be knowledgeable about Food & Beverage menus, current promotions, and specials; answer guests’ questions clearly.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Retrieve food or drink orders from the kitchen or bar and deliver them to guests in a timely manner.
• Collect guest payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards), ensure transaction accuracy, and provide correct change.
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned sidework.
• Pack and verify all To-Go orders with guests.
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area.

Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk 100% of the shift.
• Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (e.g., delivering and clearing plates/glasses).
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks and notes.
• Completion and passing of the Florida Responsible Vendor program and food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.
• Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.
