Summary
Supervises daily staff activities for an assigned area or function in Exercise Physiology.
Responsibilities
- Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
- Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
- Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Affirms quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.
- Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
- Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints within scope of job.
Requirements
- Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist
- Master's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or Kinesiology
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Exercise Specialist certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
- 2 years of related experience.
Qualifications
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Pay
$27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
