About the Role

This position involves overseeing industrial multi-craft floor maintenance, managing maintenance team assignments, and ensuring efficient operations through leadership, troubleshooting, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Make daily assignments and distribute tasks to maintenance team members, including managing production floor machine breakdown job assignments.
• Assist with data tracking of daily downtime and shift communication.
• Communicate daily with the General Manager, Manager, and Engineering as necessary.
• Identify machine breakdown trends and implement countermeasure plans to prevent reoccurrences where possible.
• Assist with preventative maintenance planning.
• Help organize effective measures to obtain critical spare part inventory and simplify tool crib parts identification.
• Perform J.D. Edwards data entry.
• Handle daily personnel issues and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct all daily operations in a consistent and fair manner.
• Emphasize the importance of teamwork, 5S, and promote a safe work environment.
• Work with contractors when required and follow up on their job completion.
• Provide process training for maintenance team members and production team leaders as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ten years of Industrial Multi-craft Floor Maintenance experience.
• Multi-craft Electrical / Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with various types of machine and facility repairs.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills in work history.
