Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect work assignments to ensure timely completion and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain and repair buildings, rooms, equipment, and systems as per the Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Ensure inventory security and replenish supplies efficiently.
• Train and educate employees on safety and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Prepare equipment for the next day’s work.
• Respond courteously to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to promote teamwork and quality service.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
• May serve as Manager of Duty as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Some college or advanced vocational training plus two years of experience in general building maintenance and/or construction.
• Hotel maintenance and supervisory experience preferred.
• Specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields.
• Licensed plumber and/or journeyman status for electrician and carpenter may be required.
• Communication, reading, writing, mathematical, problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to carry, lift, push, and pull items up to 100-300 pounds, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and crawl.
• May work nights, weekends, and holidays.
