Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage Production personnel, equipment, and materials of the Security Products Group.
• Ensure safety, high productivity, high quality, and yields, continuous improvement, and product delivery commitments.
• Hire and train subordinates using the Learning System.
• Maintain and monitor processes, report and investigate safety issues, and implement corrective measures.
• Schedule resources and prioritize workflow through the manufacturing area.
• Interact with other departments to ensure the safe production and shipment of quality products while meeting customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates or BA/BS Degree
• Strong supervisory management skills
• A technical background related to vacuum deposition or equivalent experience working in a vacuum coating area

• On-time delivery to promise (OSD)
• Safety programs and observations via the Behavior Based Safety methodology
• Process yield/quality
• Cost & waste reductions
• Safety record

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements

• Strong supervisory management skills are essential for effective interaction and communication with co-workers, technicians, other departments, and customers.
• To prioritize and schedule the production of quality products to meet customer's delivery requirements.

Schedule

Initial assignment (Training) will be Monday-Friday Day Shift – transitioning to either day or night shifts on a 3-4 Day Schedule. Occasional visits on off hours may be required to communicate with team or one on one.
