About the role

This position oversees advanced imaging modalities including Nuclear Medicine, Cat Scan, MRI, and Ultrasound across all Palomar Health locations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a smooth workflow and effective communication processes among caregivers.
• Ensure the delivery of quality, timely, and efficient services in Imaging.
• May cover patient care shifts in emergencies or urgent departmental needs.
• Perform diagnostic medical procedures if necessary, with knowledge of advanced imaging modalities.
• Assist the Manager or Director of Imaging Services in budget preparation and Balanced Scorecard updates.
• Represent the department in leadership meetings and other activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years related experience, preferred 5-10 years.
• Knowledge of standard office equipment and personal computer skills.
• Current CA Radiologic Health Nuclear Medicine License or Certified Radiologic Technologist CRT(R).
• Board Certified Nuclear Med Tech and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certified Radiologic Technologist CRT(R).
• Current American Heart Association recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic PACS environment.
• Ability to speak and read English sufficiently to perform essential functions.

Skills

• Proficient in Windows computer skills, including keyboarding, mouse usage, and software applications like MS Office.
