Supported Living Staff - Madison

About the role

Community Living Connections (CLC) is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as Supported Living Specialists (SLS). In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live independently and actively participate in their communities. Whether you have previous caregiving experience or are looking to start a rewarding new career, we provide paid training to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support in clients' homes and throughout the community.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Support community outings, appointments, and recreational activities.
• Encourage independence, personal growth, and achievement of individual goals.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Transport individuals safely to appointments and community activities.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in caregiving, direct support, customer service, hospitality, education, retail, healthcare, childcare, or human services is helpful but not required.

Pay and Schedule

Full-Time (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM): $17.00/hour, Part-Time: $16.00/hour. Evening and Weekend Shifts Available.
