About the role
Grow Nurturing Families at TFI Family Services provides PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Therapy) to families with kids ages 2-7. PCIT is an evidenced-based model that uses play therapy to emphasize praise and positive interactions, as well as quality time between caregivers and children.
As a Family Support Worker, you will work in a dyad with a PCIT Therapist. The Family Support Worker is responsible for case management services and finding community resources for the families, while the Therapist focuses on clinical interventions. You will be provided families to work with, engage, and schedule your own weekly home visits. You will also participate in case staffings, supervisions, complete documentation, and have access to many child welfare trainings.
