Support Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an IDD Direct Support Supervisor to oversee residential facilities and support staff. This role requires a compassionate individual committed to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and mental health challenges through supportive supervision and personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating activities of Direct Support Employees
• Managing residential homes, ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Implementing personalized services to help individuals achieve their goals
• Conducting performance reviews, training, and addressing employee issues
• Providing after-hours and on-call coverage
• Monitoring interactions and relationships between staff and individuals supported
• Carrying out duties of a Direct Support Professional and other assigned tasks

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or G.E.D; health-related degree or experience preferred
• At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and possess a valid driver’s license
• CPR, First Aid, and additional certifications are advantageous
