About the role
The Front Desk Receptionist provides primary communication and administration support, serving as the first point of contact and helping ensure smooth daily operation.
Responsibilities
- Greeting clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Answering, transferring, and prioritizing phone calls appropriately.
- Scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling client appointments, updating client arrivals or no-show/cancellations, and setting up and organizing appointments.
- Aiding clinicians and medication providers with scheduling and other administrative tasks.
- Coinciding with the Intake Coordinator, Office Manager, Therapists, and Medication Providers.
- Maintaining the waiting area and updating any signage or notices.
- Monitoring emails and responding in a prompt, prioritized, and professional manner.
- Ensuring HIPAA compliance and maintaining confidentiality in all forms of communication or action.
Requirements
Commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
