Support Staff-Community Relations Video Production Specialist

About the role

The Video Production Specialist is responsible for creating high-quality video content that supports the school district communication, marketing, and engagement efforts. This role involves live streaming School Board meetings as well as filming, editing, and producing videos that showcase district programs, events, student achievements, and key initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Create and produce high-quality video content for the school district’s communication and marketing needs.
• Live stream School Board meetings and other important events.
• Collaborate with the communications team and school staff to develop visual storytelling that informs, inspires, and connects with the community.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of related experience.
• Five (5) years of experience in special event planning, marketing, or public relations.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with a wide variety of people.
• Considerable knowledge of the School District and the community.

Skills

• Proficiency in video production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Experience with live streaming platforms.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
