You’ll work directly with people in need of assistance, and/or living with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or other complex medical needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities as they explore, secure, and succeed in competitive, integrated employment.
- Mentor, advocate, and partner in helping others reach their goals through:
- Meeting clients in their homes and community to build trust and connection
- Conducting career assessments that focus on individual strengths, skills, and interests
- Helping develop or revise resumes, practice interviews, and identify job leads
- Supporting onboarding and training with new employers
- Providing ongoing coaching to promote job retention and personal growth
- Attending team meetings, writing progress reports, and maintaining clear communication
- Create positive, lasting impact—one job, one goal, one success at a time
Requirements
- Must meet requirements of a Designated Coordinator
- High school diploma or GED plus at least 4 years of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults
- Associate degree in human services, education, or a related field plus at least 2 years of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, education, or a related field plus at least 1 year of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, or lift
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience teaching, coaching, or mentoring individuals in employment-related skills
- Knowledge of the job market and hiring process
- Highly organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks or unexpected demands professionally
- Fluency in ASL, Spanish, Hmong, Somali, or Oromo preferred
- Proficient with using technology for documentation
Qualifications

- Fixed Starting Rate: $19.50/hr
- Hours: Monday-Friday 8a-4p

Pay
- Fixed Starting Rate: $19.50/hr
Schedule
- Hybrid role including in-person and remote work, with up to two days per week working from home based on service needs.
- Mileage for work-related travel is reimbursed.
