About the Opportunity
The Support Specialist, Fandango 1 role is designed to provide specialized technology consulting and support to partner cinemas to help them operate effectively. This position plays a critical role in ensuring client satisfaction by addressing technical challenges and advising on best practices to improve cinema operations using proprietary software.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and solutions to cinema operators using the company’s software.
- Conduct remote training, software installation, and configuration adjustments.
- Troubleshoot issues such as tablet setup, printing problems, Bluetooth pairing, and network conflicts.
- Advise clients on optimizing revenue and operational efficiency.
- Maintain strong client relationships and escalate issues when necessary.
- Document case details and suggest product or process improvements.
Requirements
- Proficiency with MS Windows and Office; basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
- Strong customer service skills and patience with users of varied technical backgrounds.
- Background in IT-related fields or help desk environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
- Experience with cinema software, point-of-sale systems, or online reservation systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com and advanced problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work remotely during assigned shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight PT.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Compensation: $24.04 per hour.
