About the role
The primary focus of this role includes providing input for efficient space utilization, managing property services, overseeing fleet management, administering the PIV system, and coordinating security measures.
Responsibilities
- Provides input for efficient utilization of space, including floor plans and design, ensuring proper cubicle design and required infrastructure.
- Manages property services such as facilities, trouble calls, inventory management, and disposal of excess property.
- Oversees the day-to-day functions of the fleet management program, documenting authorized operators, scheduling utilization and maintenance, and submitting required reports.
- Administers the Personal Identity Verification (PIV) system, ensuring proper issuance of PIV cards and managing administration roles.
- Acts as the PIV liaison as required.
- Provides forms and publication services, ensuring equipment requirements are met for all activities.
- Coordinates with acquisition personnel in acquiring office supplies and equipment, then stores and distributes office supplies and equipment.
- Provides input in the coordination of building security with appropriate authorities and the preparation of all reports associated with security.
- Provides input in the planning and recommendations for procedural improvements in all administrative functional areas.

Requirements
This role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include management analyst, administrative officer, or experience in supporting administrative functions.
Qualifications
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-07 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
- Graduate education may be substituted for up to 2 years of specialized experience.
Skills
Knowledge of space utilization, property management, fleet management, PIV system administration, security coordination, and administrative procedural improvements is essential.
