Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Services Operative within Clinical Support Services based at Arran War Memorial Hospital. This post is offered on a permanent basis. Hours: 25 hours per week, 4 week rota incorporating 3x morning shifts (8am – 1.30pm) & 2 backshifts (1pm – 6.30pm) per week, including 2 weekends in 4.
What You Will Do
- Work within Clinical Support Services undertaking a variety of housekeeping/cleaning and meal/beverage duties.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment, an understanding of food safety standards or working within a healthcare setting, would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
- The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team and good communication skills are essential.
Knowledge, Training and/or Experience Required for This Post
Applicants should be physically fit, understand the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare environment and be flexible in regard to areas worked within Arran War Memorial Hospital. Full training will be provided.
