Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive the Pantry Food truck, alone and/or with a volunteer to: Assist with pick up of donated product from our Enabled Retail partners and offsite storage locations.
- Assist with pick up weekly food order from Greater Boston Food Bank (Framingham and Walpole).
- Purchase and/or pick up weekly food needs from Restaurant Depot, BJ’s and other vendors.
- Pick up Amazon Wish List and other supplies from the Postal Center as needed.
- Empty the donation bin in the morning, weigh and date check items, restock according to stocking procedures.
- Inspect product to ensure that safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Maintain the Pantry truck (gas, scheduled maintenance, inspections, tire pressure) including submitting all records of work.
- Process food drives, including recording weight, date checking and stocking according to established procedures.
- Auxiliary in keeping pantry shelves stocked.
- Auxiliary in Home Delivery and Weekend Backpack Delivery as needed.
- Vacuum the pantry and remove trash and recycling as needed.
- In the absence of the Warehouse Manager, act as the Lead Stocker.
- Comfortable learning Oasis Pro Scheduling System and provide back up to Front Desk and Lead Client Services.
- Provide coverage for Pantry Client Facing roles as needed.
- Provide phone coverage to process client messages, return calls, schedule client appointments.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Pantry staff, volunteers, community partners and clients.
- Excellent organization, time-management, and task-management skills.
Physical Requirements
- Moderate/heavy physical effort required in lifting and moving food boxes onto the Pantry truck along with moving food up and down flights of stairs throughout the day.
- Must be able to routinely lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Regularly required to stand and walk.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- May be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold, including working in cooler and freezer areas.
Education and Experience
- Class D driver’s license and documentation of a clean driving record.
- Delivery/driving experience in a non-profit or for-profit organization preferred.
- Experience in a client facing role a plus.
