About the role

Complete Network is looking for a Support Desk Technician with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT and two to five years of experience. This is a Level 1-2 support desk position troubleshooting a variety of desktop support issues. The candidate must have strong technical and communication skills and an entrepreneurial attitude, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Day-to-day duties will include remote and on-site technical support for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support
• Troubleshoot hardware and OS issues
• Administer Windows systems in a distributed environment (desktop and server)
• Perform Active Directory administration
• Support and administer applications
• Administer anti-virus software and remediate malware
• Manage backup and recovery software
• Support mobile devices
• Apply networking concepts and manage hardware (switches, routers, firewalls)
• Understand and work with network cabling, TCP/IP, wireless networks, and VPNs (remote-access and site-to-site)

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT
• Two to five years of experience in a support desk role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Able to interact with and support customers while maintaining a friendly attitude
• Strong search engine and research capabilities
• Willing to work overtime and be on call
• Reliable transportation for local travel
• Able to work from home
