Support Associate (Full-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Building Materials Sales Support Specialist to provide vital support to our sales team and assist customers in the building and construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales representatives by preparing quotes, drafting proposals, and sourcing technical product data.
• Greet and assist walk-in customers and handle phone inquiries about product availability, lead times, and order status.
• Develop knowledge of building materials to guide customers toward suitable solutions.
• Accurately process sales orders, ensuring correct delivery dates, specifications, and pricing.
• Handle returns/credits and support general office duties as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority quotes and orders simultaneously with attention to detail.
• Comfortable learning industry-specific POS and inventory software; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods while assisting customers or checking inventory.
