Support and Logistics Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Cook up daily operational and logistical needs for Surgical Services.
• Oversee daily assignments and scheduling for Anesthesia Technicians, Service Associates, and Surgical Services Technicians.
• Manage equipment allocation and availability to support surgical procedures and departmental needs.
• Aid in planning for replacement and maintenance of specialty equipment.
• Maintain watchful eye on operational processes and spot opportunities for quality and performance improvement.
• Collaborate with nursing leaders and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow and surgical scheduling.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management activities.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on patient care and customer service excellence.
• Assist with budget-conscious operational decisions, product evaluations, and resource utilization.
• Maintain effective communication with leadership, staff, and other departments.
• Engage in professional development activities and stay updated on industry best practices.

What You’ll Need for this Job

• Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
• Preferred: Bachelors Degree
• Minimum Experience Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
• Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
• Details: Operational knowledge of the perioperative department is preferred.

Compensation

Pay Range: $20.02 - $31.03 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
