Supply Technician (USAF Base Supply)

Position reports to the Project Manager, Supply Manager, and Supply Operations Manager. Responsibilities include accountability, security, safety, and task performance within the assigned area of responsibility (AOR) under the Section Lead’s direction. The Supply Technician provides supplies and equipment support to authorized customers through USAF Standard Base Supply Systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned duties and functions as directed by AFI 23-101, AFH 23-123, AFM 23-122, applicable Technical Orders, and other publications.
• Carry out duties as directed by the Supply Manager and assigned by the Supply Lead.
• Manage inventory control of expendable supplies and equipment assets through various supply sources, ensuring accuracy and minimizing adjustments.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis to resolve discrepancies identified during physical inventories, warehouse refusals, Reports of Survey, or customer complaints.
• Ensure proper receipt and issuance of materials from the main and remote warehouses.
• Resolve customer (internal and external) problems and complaints regarding warehouse functions.
• Process non-conforming material correctly to prevent reuse.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Supply Systems, including ILS-Supply, ILS-Mobility, Asset Management, and LIMS EV, as required.
• When assigned, manage War Consumables Distribution Objective (WCDO) items and NWRM in accordance with AFM 23-122.
• Report accidents, injuries, near misses, and hazardous situations in a timely manner.
• Perform all essential tasks as outlined in Contractual Performance Work Statements.
• Provide after-hours support when scheduled.
• Assist the main mobility element for exercises and mission support as required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of military experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of governing supply regulations, procedures, and instructions.
• Military experience in the Supply career field is highly desirable.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Valid Class C driver’s license with an “Acceptable” driving record.
• Customer service-oriented with strong communication and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

Pay

$46.10/hour
