Supply Technician

About the role

AVMAC LLC was founded by two former Naval Aviation Maintenance Officers, Bert Ortiz and Don Buzard, who collectively have more than eight decades of experience assigned to, or directly supporting, both carrier and amphibious aviation. Responsibilities

• Validate and process customer requisitions
• Manage material delivery and ensure compliance with government and Federal Acquisition Regulations
• Handle procurement, material handling, and fiscal accounting procedures efficiently
• Provide full logistical support including ordering, expediting, warehousing, and maintenance
• Maintain accurate records for all aircraft equipment, materials, and financial transactions

Requirements

• Five years aircraft supply experience or equivalent
• Completion of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Administration Course and the Data Analysis Course, or a military/civilian equivalent
• Knowledge of the Aviation 3M system and IMRL support actions

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Frequent bending, reaching, and climbing
• Ability to lift and carry items up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with assistance
• Work may be performed in cramped or awkward positions on top of or under equipment
