About the role

This position performs causative research to resolve critical inventory discrepancies, extensive research on inventory discrepancies, determines causes of discrepancies, processes Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs), performs Shelf-Life updates and Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS), evaluates and analyzes trends for inventory discrepancies, assists specialists in the analysis of automated systems, and operates material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts physical inventories and location surveys.
  • Prepares reports concerning results of investigations performed.
  • Determines causes of discrepancies and makes or coordinates appropriate adjustments to correct inventory records and documents.
  • Processes Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs).
  • Performs Shelf-Life updates and COSIS on stock as required.
  • Evaluates and analyzes trends for inventory discrepancies.
  • Assists specialists in the analysis of automated systems and the implementation of new applications.
  • Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts and stock selectors to move material.

Requirements

Special authorities include DoD Civilian Spouse eligibles, Military Spouse Preference (MSP) eligibles, Retained Grade Preference (RGP) eligibles, and Military Reserve and National Guard Technician eligibles in the commuting area. Veterans eligibilities include 30% or more Disabled Vet and Veterans Employment Opportunities Act (VEVOA).

Qualifications

  • Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-07 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.
  • Education: Graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $41,000 to $61,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The position is located within DLA Distribution Oklahoma City, OK and may be worked on various shifts.
