Supply Technician

About the role

The Supply Technician II manages the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies within a facility, including tasks like receiving deliveries, checking against orders, maintaining inventory levels, preparing items for shipment, and ensuring accurate record-keeping to maintain proper accountability of all supplies.

Responsibilities

• Works within a framework of established regulations, policies, and procedures, or other governing property management guidelines.
• Deals with a variety of operating officials regarding limited aspects of program needs of the organization serviced.
• Manages the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies within a facility.
• Receives deliveries and checks against orders.
• Maintains inventory levels.
• Prepares items for shipment and ensures accurate record-keeping to maintain proper accountability of all supplies.
• Reviews and annotates changes to unit material condition status report.
• Posts transactions to the organizational and Installation Property Books and supporting transaction files.
• Edits all received supply transactions and posts as applicable.
• Generates hand receipts, ad hoc reports, and other accountability documentation as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years related work experience.

Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
