Supply Teachers Birmingham

Primary Supply Teachers needed for a group of Birmingham schools across Sparkbrook, Small Heath, Bordesley Green, Stechford, Hodge Hill, Shard End, Erdington, Castle Vale, and Castle Bromwich. Roles available from September, with both daily and long-term opportunities.

About the Role

We're looking for dynamic, adaptable Primary Teachers to support community-focused schools that value confident, effective teaching and strong routines. These schools are busy, inclusive, and have high expectations for behaviour and learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 based on daily or long-term needs
• Deliver clear, engaging lessons that align with school policies
• Support pupils' learning, progress, and wellbeing
• Manage behaviour calmly and consistently
• Adapt quickly to new classrooms, teams, and expectations
• Be available from 6:30am for same-day bookings

School Environment

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to complete a new check)
• Ability to teach confidently from Early Years to Year 6
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Professionalism, punctuality, and adaptability
• Willingness to work across multiple Birmingham schools

Pay

• £130–£150 per day (daily roles)
• £140–£185 per day (long-term roles)
