About the role

The Supply Supervisor ensures that work is completed in a timely manner and with high quality by coordinating employees’ efforts and contributing directly to tasks. This individual works alongside warehouse workers to maintain process flow, quality, and operational and personnel processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Warehouse Manager in planning and assigning tasks to warehouse employees to achieve objectives
  • Assists the Warehouse Manager in coordinating the planned and unplanned workflow of the warehouse
  • Contributes ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehouse functions
  • Promotes a safe work environment by ensuring proper training on warehouse equipment and its appropriate use
  • Ensures warehouse organization, stock rotation, and cleanliness
  • Champions continuous improvement activities and culture
  • Communicates job performance standards to team members
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable requirements related to product and service quality, environmental standards, food safety, and health and safety regulations
  • Promotes a safe and healthy work environment by preventing work-related injuries and illnesses, eliminating hazards, and reducing health and safety risks
  • Complies with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)/General Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines for personal hygiene and observes security precautions as mandated by unit management

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience at a supervisory level or above
  • Experience leading or supervising the day-to-day operations of warehouse services
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Business and customer service focus
  • Ability to lift items/packages (up to 35 lbs. / 15 kg)
  • Well organized, rigorous, and methodical with adaptability to local constraints
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
