About the Role

Supply Specialist I position supporting inventory and logistics operations. Responsibilities include managing hand receipts, inventory processes, and equipment layout procedures, as well as working with Supply Catalogs, Technical Manuals, and Hand Receipts Listing at the component level.

Responsibilities

• Understand and execute hand receipt and inventory processes.
• Follow equipment inventory layout procedures.
• Work with Supply Catalogs, Technical Manuals, and Hand Receipts Listing at the component level.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and procedures.
• Collaborate with management, production shop personnel, engineering, Program Manager, and Quality Manager.
• Operate a forklift as required.
• Apply thorough knowledge of quality assurance standards.
• Solve problems in standard operational situations.
• Obtain a security clearance when required by contract.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two (2) years of logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification and operate a forklift.
• Strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Preferred knowledge of Deltek/Costpoint system.
