Supply Replenisher Associate

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of lean supply management principles within the BU Laboratory network, including materials/supplies movement and replenishment to point of use.
• Perform cycle counts and daily replenishment routines, interacting with laboratory staff and supply analysts to assure material availability.
• Execute standard business processes for managing material flow for all facility types in the assigned region (Laboratories, RRL, PSC, IOP, etc.).
• Participate in internal work teams focused on continuous improvement of supply replenishment processes, targeting cost and cycle‑time reduction.
• Conduct regular physical inventory and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of on‑hand inventories.
• Maintain visual management tools (e.g., Kanban) and mistake‑proof initiatives (labels with photos).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain.
• Ability to lift 50 lb.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems (desired).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with all staff levels.
• Efficient planning and organizing skills.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with software such as Excel, Word, Visio, etc. (highly desirable).
