Supply Replenisher Associate

About the role

This position supports the implementation of lean supply management principles within the BU Laboratory network, including materials and supplies movement and replenishment to the point of use in the laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts and daily replenishment routines, interacting with laboratory staff and supply analysts to assure material availability.
• Execute standard business processes for managing material flow for all facility types in the assigned region, including Laboratories, RRL, PSC, IOP, etc.
• Participate in internal work teams focused on continuous improvement of supply replenishment processes, targeting overall cost and cycle‑time reduction.
• Conduct regular physical inventory and cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of on‑hand inventories.
• Maintain visual management tools (e.g., Kanban) and mistake‑proof initiatives (labels with photos).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain.
• Ability to lift 50 lb.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems (desired).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact well with all staff levels.
• Efficient planning and organizing skills.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with software such as Excel, Word, Visio, etc. (highly desirable).

Schedule

Shift/Time Zone: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, Central Time zone.
