Supply Planner

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production/purchasing plans that meet established customer service targets and inventory goals
• Develop and implement a 30-day production schedule for finished goods and dependent demand requirements for SKU’s assigned, ensuring that the schedule support sales goals, inventory financial targets, and minimize product age and obsolescence
• Analyze and evaluate current manufacturing capacities to determine when additional capacity is required to support sales demand, raise the concern to management to seek capacities from sister companies
• Maintain finished good inventory targets for assigned items/customers
• Develop and maintain system supply planning parameters settings and attributes to develop a feasible rough-cut production plan
• Avoid and mitigate risks through daily/weekly review meetings with production schedulers on late production orders; identify the reason of the delay, current status and the new production finish date and update on the production scheduling report
• Identify areas of improvements and recommend action plans
• Place purchase orders for inventory needs
• Recommend schedule alternatives to reduce and/or prevent order backlogs

Education and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 4 years of experience with emphasis in production and material planning activities
• SAP experience or similar ERP system is preferred
• Intermediate to Advanced level user of Microsoft office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
