About the role
The Supply Planner is responsible for developing and executing the supply plan for SEB Professional North America to ensure optimal inventory levels and on-time supply while minimizing slow-moving and obsolete stock (SLOBs), cost, and complexity. This role ensures KPIs are met and drives continuous improvement through cross-functional projects.
Responsibilities
- Identify possible gaps in the business plan to proactively define and implement countermeasures, ensuring budget targets for net sales, inventories, and customer service levels are achieved.
- Ensure stock availability for assigned SKUs and products.
- Manage the full cycle of purchase orders, including tracking and follow-up.
- Review and manage purchase requisitions.
- Maintain and improve master data.
- Support and/or own management reporting.
- Escalate stock availability issues with suppliers and factories.
- Seek opportunities and actions to meet KPIs and department objectives, including proposals for continuous improvement.
- Manage stock availability by optimizing safety stock, lead times, and customer/supplier collaboration.
- Develop action plans to manage slow-moving and obsolete stock (SLOB) in collaboration with other departments.
- Understand and manage the product life cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a planning role.
- Strong sense of urgency and customer-centric mindset.
- Strategic long-term vision combined with the ability to take calculated risks.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Team player with a LEAN mindset, focused on identifying opportunities rather than problems.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

Pay
Salary range of $70,000–80,000, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Full-time, exempt position with a hybrid workplace schedule.
Position location: Irvine, CA.
