Supply Management Specialist I - Supply Management

Contract Position (just over 12 months) with strong potential for extension. 100% onsite in Ankeny, IA. Visa sponsorship is not available.

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Management Specialist I to join a leading manufacturing organization supporting supplier management and purchased parts delivery operations. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a degree in Supply Chain Management or a business-related field, as well as candidates with experience in purchasing, inventory, logistics, or supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchased parts delivery from internal and external suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and support supply chain operations.
• Analyze inventory, supplier, and purchasing data using Excel and company systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve delivery and inventory issues.
• Support sourcing, procurement, and supply management activities.
• Generate reports and maintain accurate records within supply chain systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Must be either a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience.
• Inventory or material planning experience.
• Supplier management experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience.

Pay

$22-$27/hour

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
