Supply Change Receiver - Iowa Methodist Hospital - Full Time Days

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and timely unloads shipments from freight carriers using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or flatbeds.
• Inspects packages for damages and verifies product shipment against packing slips.
• Accurately documents receipt of products in the Lawson ERP system.
• Identifies and communicates discrepancies in shipments with Central Procurement.
• Fills out packing slips and maintaining receiving records.
• Delivers packages to the correct location per Purchase Orders.
• Processes vendor returns in the ERP system and coordinates with the outbound freight carrier for delivery.
• Assists with regional mail pick-up, sort, and delivery as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of supply chain distribution experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Valid driver’s license for work-related vehicle operations.
• Self-directed and capable of assuming responsibility for timely job completion.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Skills in projection coordination and critical thinking.
• Strong safety background.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
