About the role

We are looking for a dedicated, proactive, and experienced Supply Chain/Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse, purchasing, inventory, and logistics operations in Reno. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can keep materials moving, maintain accurate inventory, support the production team, and build strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Warehouse Operations
    • Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, storage, inventory control, and pickups and deliveries
    • Lead warehouse employees through clear direction, coaching, training, and performance management
    • Maintain organized warehouse layout and optimize space utilization
    • Oversee receiving inspections and ensure inbound shipments meet quality and quantity expectations
    • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and ensure equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, are used safely and properly
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintain accurate inventory within Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
    • Lead cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation activities
    • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
    • Implement inventory control best practices that improve accuracy and reduce waste
    • Coordinate closely with production and installation teams to ensure material availability
  • Purchasing/Procurement
    • Coordinate and develop purchasing strategies with the purchasing team that ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
    • Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing requirements
    • Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvements
    • Process new part requests and maintain accurate and current purchasing records
    • Verify pricing, quantities, descriptions, and vendor documentation before orders are placed
  • Physical Requirements
    • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50lbs with or without assistance
    • Prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion for extended periods
    • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field - preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, warehouse, or operations management within a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Previous leadership experience managing warehouse employees and day-to-day operations
  • Experience implementing warehouse best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory control, logistics, shipping, and receiving
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems - Business Central - preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain - preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Strong work ethic

Pay

$98,000 – 115,000 based on experience, plus performance bonus

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. No weekends
