Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Supply Chain Manager for a mission-driven manufacturing organization based in Dallas, Texas. This full-time onsite opportunity requires approximately 50% travel.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Supply Chain Manager will provide strategic leadership across purchasing, inventory management, production control, warehousing, shipping, and receiving operations within a manufacturing environment. This role will oversee supply chain performance, optimize processes, and strengthen vendor partnerships while leading cross-functional initiatives that support organizational growth. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with experience managing complex supply networks and driving operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and oversee production planning, purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, and shipping/receiving functions
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies that improve efficiency, cost performance, and service delivery
  • Build and manage relationships with domestic and global suppliers, including contract negotiation and implementation
  • Establish and utilize metrics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members while fostering collaboration across departments
  • Manage multiple projects and operational priorities to support organizational objectives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • Experience leading supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment, including purchasing, inventory, and production functions
  • Demonstrated success managing supplier relationships, contracts, and global sourcing initiatives
  • Strong leadership, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and supply chain certifications are preferred

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
