Join our community of food professionals as a Supply Chain Training Manager, overseeing the onboarding and training of new Selectors and Drivers during their first 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Owns all warehouse training (classroom and floor) for new Selectors and Drivers during the first 90 days of employment.
- Leads a team of Trainers and New Hires through a multi-week onboarding period, measured by productivity, quality, reliability, safety, culture integration, job knowledge, and retention.
- Directs and coordinates all aspects of onboarding and training, including scheduling resources, conducting classroom and floor training, performing observations, and tracking metrics.
- Provides actionable performance, behavioral feedback, and coaching in both classroom and floor environments.
- Facilitates mentoring of new Selectors and Drivers to drive engagement through the onboarding process.
- Analyzes and tracks weekly Trainer and Associate performance (30/60/90-day milestones) to ensure expectations are met.
- Collects data to determine safety, effectiveness, retention, and sustainability of training for continuous program improvement.
- Serves as a point of contact and collaborator for Field Market Trainers.
- Ensures new and existing Associates safely follow preferred plays while meeting productivity goals.
- Partners with Vice President of Operations, Directors, HR, Field Market Trainers, Supervisors, and Managers to monitor progress and identify coaching opportunities.
- Reports performance and retention data to leadership and provides training recommendations based on trends.
- May consult in the interview, hire, performance review, discipline, and termination processes in collaboration with leadership and HR.
- Regularly inspects the facility for safety hazards and resolves or reports them as appropriate.
- Jointly accountable (with warehouse leadership) for maintaining the physical condition of the warehouse and its equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of training or facilitation experience, preferably in a Supply Chain and/or Warehouse environment.
- Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
- Prior experience and/or leadership in a Supply Chain/Warehouse environment is preferred.
- PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) experience is preferred but not required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree strongly preferred.
Skills
- Strong facilitation, leadership, communication, engagement, and development skills.
- Ability to compile and interpret operational metrics.
- Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods, and procedures.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (Access preferred).
- Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HAACP, and other regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Ability to frequently lift 10–100 lbs.

Pay
The expected base rate for this role is between $60,000 and $100,000, depending on relevant experience, education, skills, function, and geographic location.
