Supply Chain Technician - Multiple Campus Locations

Responsibilities

• Support compliance and the Principles of Responsibility by maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain medical supply stocking levels within the assigned healthcare facility, including ancillary departments.
• Make recommendations for par level adjustments and place orders to align supply costs with clinical unit budgets.
• Perform physical receipt of goods and validate shipping against packing slips from FedEx, UPS, USPS, and capital equipment deliveries.
• Manage outstanding backorders and receipts by executing queries in the procurement system daily or weekly, addressing discrepancies, and communicating with relevant departments.
• Manage returns to vendor (RTV) items.
• Deliver medical equipment and supplies to clinical supply closets.
• Rotate and stock products according to a first-in, first-out model.
• Cook up deliveries and vendor-managed supplies (e.g., linen) with contracted suppliers.
• Manage inventory in clinical supply areas: organize supply areas, manage shelf life and expiring products, remove unused supplies, and coordinate with vendors.

Requirements

• One year's experience in supply chain preferred.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with other departments to solve complex problems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical/surgical services and supplies and inventory.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer knowledge and skills required.
• Average Associate Degree in Business or Health Care related field preferred.
