Supply Chain Distribution Technician

Picks up return items

• Follows established guidelines
• Performs daily par cart inventories
• Picks orders
• Confirms orders
• Delivers supplies to assigned par areas

Requisitions for non-stock supplies

• Creates as needed in assigned par areas

Maintains par areas

• Ensures par areas are orderly
• Properly tagged
• Sufficiently stocked
• To meet customer needs

Disburses materials

• Takes care to obtain location delivery information
• Delivers supplies and packages to customers

Maintains cleanliness and organization

• Maintains warehouse and other assigned areas
• In a clean, safe, and organized manner

Completes replenishment/picking process

• Accurately completes the process
• All associated computer software tasks
• To ensure accurate record keeping

Designs or maintains par location item layout

• Participates in the design or maintenance of par location item layout

Other duties

• Assists with updating item locations and labels associated with product conversions
• Participates in the design or maintenance of par location item layout

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Possesses basic math skills
• Pays attention to detail
• Communicates clearly and effectively in English
• Can communicate directly with clinicians
• Has computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Can identify, sort and count accurately
• Demonstrated ability to use an ERP system
• Understands medical terminology and products
• Demonstrated knowledge of inventory, receiving, replenishment and par level concepts
• Ability to operate material handling equipment

Education and Field of Study

• High School Grad or Equiv
• Grad or Equiv

Work Experience

• 1+ years related experience
• 6 months in customer service setting
• 6 months in supply chain
• Peoplesoft experience
