Supply Chain Technician - Clinical Supply Chain - FT - 1st Shift

About the Role

Functions as specialist, providing purchasing and inventory management support to a specific area of hospital inventory supply/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supply chain operations and logistics functions to include receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, product delivery and par/point of use replenishment and stocking
• Input of patient charges as directed
• Working with departmental end users/customers, ensuring an effective and streamlined supply chain experience

Required Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of previous job-related experience managing a multiple product inventory (SKU) and stock procurement system
• Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and a rotating schedule to meet operational needs
• Must be able to perform heavy manual tasks
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of hospital MMIS system
• Knowledge of UCI policies and procedures
• Inventory management experience in a hospital, clinic or similar environment

Licenses and Certifications

• Driver's License
