Supply Chain Technician - Clinical Supply Chain - FT - 1st Shift

About the role

This position functions as a specialist, providing purchasing and inventory management support to a specific area of hospital inventory supply/equipment. Key responsibilities include supply chain operations and logistics functions such as receiving, distribution, picking, putting away, product delivery, and par/point of use replenishment and stocking. Additionally, this role involves inputting patient charges as directed and collaborating with departmental end users/customers to ensure an effective and streamlined supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a multiple product inventory (SKU) and stock procurement system
• Perform heavy manual tasks as needed
• Input patient charges as directed
• Collaborate with departmental end users/customers to optimize supply chain experience
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

• 1 year of previous job-related experience managing a multiple product inventory (SKU) and stock procurement system
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and a rotating schedule to meet operational needs
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Able to effectively communicate, read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Able to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hospital MMIS system
• Knowledge of UCI policies and procedures
• Inventory management experience in a hospital, clinic, or similar environment
• Licenses and certifications: Driver's License
