Supply Chain Technician 1 - UW Medical Center-Montlake FIXED TERM DURATION, PER DIEM

This is a fixed-duration, per-diem position anticipated to last 12 months with a variable shift schedule.

About the Role

UW Medicine Supply Chain Management enhances the patient care experience by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and sharing comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.

• Ensure healthcare providers at the No. 1 Hospital in WA State have access to vital medical supplies and equipment
• Serve as an important contributor supporting the patient care experience

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining adequate stock and distributing general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital
• Manage rental equipment using Supply Chain point-of-use (POU) systems
• Use technology such as handhelds, package scanners, and Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) to ensure proper inventory and cost allocations

Requirements

• High school graduation
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration

Pay

Pay Range: $21.63 – $29.99 hourly
