UW Medical Center-Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Supply Chain Technician 1. Work Schedule: 100% FTEDay Shift, Mondays through Fridays, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Department Description

UW Medicine Supply Chain Management enhances the patient care experience by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and specialized supply chain management expertise.

Position Highlights

Ensure healthcare providers at the No. 1 hospital in WA State have access to vital medical supplies and equipment. Serve as an important contributor supporting the patient care experience. Exceptional benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, etc.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining adequate stock and distributing general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital.
  • Manage rental equipment using Supply Chain point-of-use (POU) systems.
  • Use tech like handhelds, package scanners, and Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) to ensure proper inventory and cost allocations.

Requirements

  • High school graduation and six months of supply chain experience.
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Compensation, Benefits And Position Details

Pay Range: Minimum $21.63 hourly, Maximum $29.99 hourly. For information about benefits for this position, visit here. Shift: First Shift (United States of America), Temporary or Regular: This is a regular position, FTE (Full-Time Equivalent): 100.00%, Union/Bargaining Unit: WFSE Campuswide.
