About the role

This position serves as a material planning, purchasing, expediting, logistics, or field purchasing team member. With guidance from Purchasing Management, you will handle project material or non-project procurement support for an office, group of overhead departments, or indirect procurement category within established Material Management Plans, policies, and procedures. This role assists other material management specialists and technicians as required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage material orders with oversight from Material Management.
  • Monitor and report supplier performance toward completion of all deliverables in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Purchase Order.
  • Collaborate across disciplines including Material Management, Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS)/Quality, Engineering, Project Data & Document Management (PDDM), and Construction.
  • Generate documents, organize and manage files, and maintain tracking data and reports.
  • Perform routine activities to ensure timely delivery of material to support construction or other activities.
  • Conduct bid clarifications, pre-award, post-award, supplier schedule/quality recovery meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in an applicable field of study and two years of work-related experience, or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to six years if non-degreed. Some locations may have additional or different qualifications to comply with local requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., General Certificates of Secondary Education) or global equivalent; four-year accredited degree or global equivalent preferred.
  • Fluent communication in English (read, write, and speak).
  • Experience primarily in material management.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good computer and software skills, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000.00 - $111,000.00. The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Background checks, including education, professional registration, employment, references, passport verifications, and Global Watchlist screening, are carried out as part of any conditional offer made.
