Essential Responsibilities
- Actively manage relationships with suppliers.
- Develop scope of work documentation, unit pricing, and contract management documents.
- Assist in the selection of suppliers & establish overall performance objectives and KPIs.
- Set up and maintain Vendor Scorecards.
- Ensure project RFPs contain accurate scopes of work, inclusions, exclusions, and completion timing expectations and are distributed and managed appropriately.
- Negotiate prices, terms, volume discounts, delivery time frames, and award contracts.
- Maintain a high degree of integrity and fairness in dealings and transactions with all suppliers and regularly monitor that activity to ensure consistency and supplier/trade relationships.
- Identify supplier capabilities gaps to ensure their projects are in our pipeline.
- Optimize the procurement process to reduce cost, redundancy, and waste.
- Improve efficiency and strengthen supply chain processes and logistics.
- Schedule and move goods and supplies.
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
- Create and analyze spreadsheets with pricing and specification comparison and present data to the management team as directed.
- Maintain all price lists and assist in preparing budgets for upcoming projects.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Review the supplier contracts to verify if the vendor is meeting expectations and service level agreements.
Qualifications & Abilities
- Associates degree in any field or completion of two years of post-secondary study.
- Two years of experience in roles scheduling and managing deadlines.
- Two years of coursework, training, or experience in inventory management and process optimization.
- Working knowledge of managing vendor or partner relationships.
- Documented coursework, training, or experience in communications, project management, data analysis, & digital technology.
