Job Overview

Atlantic Group is hiring a Supply Chain Specialist in Middlesex County, MA for a client in a global manufacturing organization. This role supports procurement, inventory planning, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of materials and supplies while maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring timely delivery to support business operations.
• Monitor inventory levels, support materials planning, and maintain appropriate inventory to meet operational needs.
• Partner with suppliers to support sourcing, purchasing, pricing, and delivery while helping maintain a reliable supply chain.
• Work closely with operations, manufacturing, planning, quality, and other internal teams to support production and resolve supply chain issues.
• Monitor supply chain performance, prepare reports, and identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or a related field is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, inventory management, or materials planning within a manufacturing environment is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience supporting procurement, supplier management, inventory control, and supply chain operations is required. Experience within a manufacturing or regulated industry is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP or MRP systems is required.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, build strong supplier relationships, collaborate across teams, and support continuous process improvement.
