Position Overview

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Supply Chain Senior Manager to join their team. The Supply Chain Senior Manager will play a key role in optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring efficient operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain efficiency, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, procurement, and distribution teams, to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to secure the best pricing, terms, and quality for materials and services.

  • Implement and maintain inventory control measures to minimize excess inventory, reduce costs, and maximize inventory turnover.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, streamline operations, and enhance supply chain performance.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to supply chain management.

  • Develop and mentor supply chain team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant certifications preferred.

  • Proven track record of success in supply chain management roles, preferably in the food manufacturing or consumer goods industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive results.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.

  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools, such as ERP systems, demand planning software, and inventory management systems.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in supply chain management.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Salary and Benefits

Competitive salary range: $130,000 - $170,000
